Yale ObGyn Leads in Patient Safety
In a recent article in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Pettker and other Yale ObGyn faculty and staff describe a substantial reduction in adverse events in their labor and delivery department after they adopted a comprehensive patient safety program.
Interim Chair Announcement – Dr. Peter Schwartz
We are pleased to announce that Peter E. Schwartz, M.D., the John Slade Ely Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences and Vice Chair, Gynecology, has been named the interim chair of the department effective Friday, August 19. Dr. Schwartz succeeds Charles J. Lockwood, M.D., who stepped down to become dean of the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
